Cane Run Farm: The Gathering Place

RCI's Cane Run Farm (CRF) provides an alternative to the traditional activity centers for persons with disabilities. Leisure options are available to individuals who wish to explore new areas of personal interest. We encourage individuals to be active and independent with the assistance of warm and caring staff in an inclusive environment. The focus of the program is to promote socialization, choice making, personal life skills, and physical/emotional health. We focus on the individual building his or her strengths and abilities to become a fully functional person.

Cane Run Farm offers a variety of activities:

  • Physical Activities and Exercise
  • Massage Therapy by LMT
  • Martial Arts Club
  • Scrap Booking
  • Healthy Lifestyle Skills
  • Arts, Crafts and Woodworking
  • Animal Care and Companionship
  • Current Events
  • Wii Sports
  • Certified Music Therapy
  • Pottery Classes
  • Field Trips in the Community
  • Family Events
  • Board Games

Eligibility:

  • Adults with special needs age 22 and over
  • Enrolled in Level One or IO Waiver
  • Private Pay
  • Full-time or Part-time enrollment

Transportation:

Transportation is available by Residential Concepts, Inc. (RCI)/Cane Run Farm (CRF) to and from place of residence. Field trips and community outings are sponsored by Cane Run Farm at no charge.

Meals:

Participants bring their own hot or cold lunch Monday through Thursday. The agency provides lunch on Fridays.

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
